From the outset, OIC Design collaborated closely with the developer to determine the most viable design strategy for both market appeal and project success. Through an extensive site analysis and market study, we identified that a single dwelling with an upscale finish would be the perfect product for the neighbourhood.

The existing building structure was retained to minimise costs and environmental impact, while an elegant second-storey extension was added to elevate the property's value. Key design decisions, such as excavating to achieve an impressively high-ceilinged living room that opens seamlessly to the outdoor deck, brought a sense of grandeur and luxury to the project, addressing the developer’s desire for a sophisticated lifestyle offering that attracts discerning buyers.

To further cater to the developer's needs, we integrated a double lock-up garage, an essential feature given the limited street parking in the area, which significantly enhances the marketability of the property. The use of brick in the façade was another strategic choice, ensuring the building’s character blended with the surrounding Italian-influenced architecture, strengthening its neighbourhood integration while adding value to the streetscape.
